July Club's Anniversary Stableford Event Wazza Wearne Champion Day 33 player's lined up for a chance to win the Wazza Wearne Trophy and the picture, that goes with it', it is a highly sort after trophy during the year. Sunday 17th January 2010 Sunday saw us tee off nice and early for the Annual Challenge between the Gerroa Residents side and the Gerringong side, as usual it was a combined Stableford score Competition, that at long last saw the very talented but usually unlucky Gerroa side WIN the day with 211 points to Gerringongs 173 points. Well done to all that played and made the day a success, and once again I thank the Board"s of the Golf Club and our own Fisho"s Board and Social Club who once again supported the event. Our normal monthly 9 Hole Competition Results 36 players teed off, with A Grade Winner being Graeme Giles on 20 points to Bob Preston on 16 points B Grade Winner going to Darren Forster on 23 points to Norm Whiley on 22 points Ladies Winner was Jan Goddard (our new Handicapper) with 18 points to Marg McDowell"s 16 points Junior Winner Went to a new player Ryan Watts on 17 points to Jordan Borg another new starter on 5 point We would love to see a lot more Juniors come and play, see you next month
